Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad

2 of the top 3 Canadian women in yesterday's New York Marathon are NL Runners.

Krissy Dooling (2:58:49 and pictured) was the 2nd Canadian and 43rd overall woman to cross the line while Karen Stacey (2:59:35) just 10 spots back was 3rd Canadian woman and 53rd overall.

The ladies get a mention in THIS ARTICLE in Canadian Running.

Great job for the Newfoundland gals!

Back in NWT after a wunnerful grand trip home for most of October where I ran the Cape to Cabot, which was all I thought it would be and then some!, and the MUN 5 K. The latter race really made me feel like a geezer with all those young students, but had a ball all the same.

I also posted a review of Cape to Cabot in the Forum section of Canadian Running online magazine if anybody wants to check it out.

Have a great winter everyone and I'm already planning C2C 2010!
