Jillian Forsey from Stephenville began her cross-country running season in Belfast, Maine on Saturday and she did so in magnificent style.
Competing in the Maine Cross-Country Festival of Champions, Forsey, who represented Canada in the NACAC Cross-Country Championships in Trinidad last March, finished second in the 5K race in 18 minutes 28 seconds. The race featured more than five hundred runners from almost eighty schools from New England and Atlantic Canada.
