Hundreds Run In Spite Of Winter Bite

The more than 200 runners that took part in today's "Good Friday Tely Practice Run" were pleasantly surprised when they took the turn off McNamara onto Topsail Road. In spite of old man winter's bite ... storm surges and sub-zero temperatures ... the wind was at their backs and the jaunt to Bannerman Park was surprisingly enjoyable!

A note of thanks to Keith Manuel, Nelson Sheppard and Paul Pearson for providing water and Powerade just past the 5-mile mark.
