The race is currently capped at 50 runners but may be increased to 100 if the demand is evident and the required sponsorship is secured. A block of rooms at Holiday Inn Express in Deer Lake will be held until May 1 at the sponsored rates of $121 for a double, queen or a king executive, and $159 for a fireplace or family suite.
