Last year the event moved to a scenic new route including Bowring Park, downtown St. John's and Quidi Vidi Lake, and participation doubled to almost 1000 runners! This year's event is capped at 1200, and all those signed up under the cap and before the September 1 regular registration deadline will save $15 and get a coveted Huffin' Puffin race shirt.
The event has seen strong growth over the past few years, particularly in the Marathon Team Relay event which sees teams of 4 runners each completing a 10-11 kilometer leg of the course.
