Run For Freedom In Riverhead SUNDAY June 26

The annual 8K Run for Freedom commemorating the Battle of Beaumont Hamel is Sunday June 26 in Riverhead St. Mary's Bay. Race starts 10am at the Royal Canadian Legion and take note that this year's event is on SUNDAY! Reception follows the race at the Legion.

Pre-registration is Thursday June 23 from 6-8pm at Hydro Place on Columbus Drive in St. John's. The field is capped at 150 so don't miss pre-registration! Fee is $20 for the 8K run or $10 for the 5K fun run/walk.

This is a chip-timed race with chips available at race-morning checkin from 8:15-9:15am at the Legion.
