Power & Collins-Sheppard Win In Garnish

Peter Power maintained his course record Saturday morning in Garnish, completing the VOCM 740 10K run in 34:52 with a comfortable lead on 2nd place finisher Michael Scott who ran 36:19. Greg Greening was 3rd in 37:14.

The women's race was slightly tighter with Lisa Collins-Sheppard 1st in 38:17 followed by Anne-Claire Dolivet in 38:56 and Stephanie Nevin in 42:41.

Pictured are Kevin Pardy receiving his 20 year certificate, with Reuben Rogers and JP Bouillie receiving accolades for 25 years of participation at Garnish. The award recipients are flanked by long-time race organizers Gord Brockerville and Lyman Keeping.
