Kate Vaughan and Peter Bazeley captured victory at yesterday's Mercury Athletics 15 km road race in Portugal Cove-St. Philips. Vaughan covered the challenging course to finish fourth overall in an excellent time of 57 minutes 39 seconds. Bazeley's winning time was 54 minutes 13 seconds.
