Cross Trainer Extraordinaire !!

Local running icon Brian Mulcahy recently took off the sneakers and strapped on the skates to represent Newfoundland at the Montreal Cup. Congrats to Brian and his Newfoundland Eastern Flyers teammates for their Division A Championship victory!

Santa Shuffle Saturday

Cape Spear to Cabot Tower

The recently run "Cape to Cabot" saw 63 brave souls trek the almost 20 kilometers of hills from North America's most easterly point Cape Spear to the historic Cabot Tower top of Signal Hill.

Athletics North East are working to make this a regular late season event. Proposed date for 2007 is October 21.

For his commitment to running in spite of a demanding work schedule, and for his exceptional podium finishes in both the Tely 10 and the Provincial Marathon, Pat Royle is this year's winner.
