ANE Mile Set For Sunday May 24

The 3rd annual ANE Mile is Sunday May 24 starting 8am on The Boulevard near the bandstand and finishing 1 mile away in Quidi Vidi Village. Kit pick-up is race morning at the bandstand from 7-7:30am. There is no race-day registration and HEADPHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED.

This event offers 2 races: the NLAA Toyota Plaza Series Open Mile with standard NLAA age road race groupings, and the School Mile for school-age children based on the NLAA cross country categories (boys & girls born in 1997 through 2006). To alleviate congestion on the course there will be "wave" starts 2 minutes apart based on your anticipated finishing time.

Medals will be presented to all participants with age group winner medals given in the Toyota Plaza Series Open race. The school with the top participants will be sent a plaque at a later date.

Refreshments and snacks will be available at the bandstand immediately following the race.
