Denita Hammond and Allison Mowat (nee Alexander) were first and second in the open women's 5k division at Canadian Forces Running Nationals in Ottawa last weekend.Naval Officer Hammond is currently posted to CFB Esquimalt and Army Officer Mowat is posted to CFB Gagetown.
Both are members of the Canadian Forces CISM running team which competes worldwide against other military teams and are training to qualify for CISM World Cross Country which will be held in Belgium next February.
