Following his PB finish of 3:09 in the Vancouver Marathon on May 3, Denis Ryan from Marystown continued a fine season of running with a 2nd place finish at the Tender Knee 12 km Trail Race at North Vancouver on May 31 with a time of 55:53.On June 6th he placed 6th overall and 2nd in the 21-29 age group at the 50km North Face Endurance Challenge in Bellingham, WA with a time of 5hrs and 18 min.
In other Running Away news George Blackwood ran 1:04:47 at the Bread & Honey 15K in Mississauga last weekend. And Geoff Budden ran the Cork Marathon in 4:15.
