In his honor and memory, the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador in conjunction with Athletics NorthEAST introduces the annual Ian Ash Memorial Award.This award is to be "presented to an individual who has given selflessly to the sport of running and through it to the community at large - as did Ian."
Nominations are invited for any individual whom you feel is deserving of this award. Please submit nominees to john.ryan@mi.mun.ca by October 15 along with a brief resume of the nominee. A committee chaired by John Ryan and including Joe Dunford, Ed Durnford and Ginny Ryan will choose the winner. The recipient will be announced at the Active For Autism Run scheduled for October 25.
