Denis Ryan has placed 1st in the 20-29 age group in the 2009 Lower Mainland Cross Country Series in Vancouver.Competing in 6 of the 8 races in the series he finished the season on Dec 5 with a fine showing in the Gunner Shaw Memorial 10K. His time of 36:39 was good for 3rd place age group and 14th place overall in the race.
