Cape To Cabot Expo This Weekend

The Scotiabank Cape to Cabot Health Expo is this Saturday October 15 from 1-5pm and Sunday October 16 from 10am-1pm in the gymnasium at MacDonald Drive Junior High School in St. John’s.

The Health Expo offers a chance for you to check out exhibits by healthy living related businesses and organisations such as The Outfitters (adventure gear and apparel), Core Insight (chiropractic, massage and acupuncture services), and The Arthritis Society. Bouncy castles will be on site to keep your little ones active while you browse and shop. A running shoe recycling station will be set up to take your donations of used running shoes.

On Saturday from 2-4pm you can take in inspiring presentations from Olympic gold medal curler Brad Gushue, sports nutritionist Holly Grant, veteran local runner Joe Ryan, and sports psychology expert Liam McErlean. Cape to Cabot runners can also pick up their race kits on Saturday afternoon.

Admission to the Expo is free and all members of the public are invited. For more information please check out www.capetocabot.com or contact Guy Beazley at gbeazley@nl.rogers.com or 764-7174.
