The Grand Bank/Fortune Running Club hosted a 5k run/walk in support of the Derrick Roul Support Fund during the town’s 2013 Winter Carnival.
Teacher Jonathan Hickman put a challenge out to the students and staff of Lake Academy in Fortune that if a total of 30 people from the school participated, he would run the 5k in a dress!Jonathan's challenge was met with over 60 runners & walkers taking part in the event and helping to raise $1000 !!
