Forsey Advances To NCAA Finals

Jillian Forsey continued her outstanding first NCAA cross-country running season with a 25th place finish in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic regional championship in Bethlehem PA.

The Kippens native covered the six kilometer course in 20 minutes 53 seconds, helping her University of West Virginia team to a fourth place finish, securing a spot in the NCAA finals next weekend and earning her "all-region" honours.

More than 200 runners from 29 universities took part in the competition.
