Last weekend some of our elite
NL Runners were in Toronto for the
Oasis 10K Zoo Run.
- David Freake 33:53 (36th)
- Kate Bazeley 35:37 (50th) 9th female
- Julia Kawamoto 36:18 (56th) 12th female
Here's what David reported on the race:
"Julia had an incredible race and was extremely pleased as we all were with her performance, Kate and I went out with some really fast people for the first 5km and paid the price later so we weren't super happy with our times as we wanted a minute or so faster but we had a blast and enjoyed seeing friends and racing the best in the country."
