Ryan Brown was the overall winner at Sunday's St. John's Triathlon Olympic distance event, completing the 1.5k swim, 46k bike and 10k run in 2:10:35. First place female was Darlene Howe in 2:48:55.
The shorter Sprint distance event (half the Olympic distance) was won by Marty Whelan in 1:11:51 with sister Maggie Whelan first place female in 1:27:55.
