David Freake put another win on the books this past weekend with a 1st place finish at the CHCM 10K in Garnish - Frenchman's Cove on the Burin Peninsula. David led the field of 109 finishers, crossing the line in 32 minutes 33 seconds.
Karen Stacey, originally from St. Lawrence, captured a close-to-home victory and her first Garnish win with a 1st place female time of 39:14.
