Racing Away!

Many NLRunners have been travelling to races on the mainland or out of the country. Here are just a few updates from the past couple of weeks:

• Darrel Lahey (Paul's nephew), originally from Bishop's Falls and now living in Vancouver, ran the Berlin Marathon on September 25 in 3:09:49.

• Erin Woodrow (Jim's daughter) ran the MEC Calgary Race Six 30K on September 24 in 2:24:33. She followed that up with last week's Victoria Marathon in 3:27:39.

• Donna Pearcey Dawe finished the October 9th Grizzly Ultra 50K in Canmore AB with snow, mud and mountains in a time of 6:55:59.
