If you've never done a tri before then this is a GREAT place to start! The point to point course starts with a 500m dip in the cool, shallow water of Freshwater Pond followed by a scenic 18k bike ride back through Carbonear, up the hill, back into Freshwater and through town again finishing by the pool in Carbonear. Then a 5k run out and back through the town and 1 lap on the track brings you across the finish line. Cap off the day with a tasty steak and salad dinner at the awards reception.
