Keeping tradition with recent years this run is a fundraiser for Kelda Farrell who continues along her road to recovery from a serious traffic accident in 2012. See the following from Nautilus President David Cooper:
"Looking forward to our Christmas tradition of running to the Inn of Olde this Friday evening. We will leave the Aquarena at 5:30 PM for a friendly jog to the bottom of the pond. We invite other members of the running community to join us and hopefully the weather will cooperate to ensure a good crowd this year.
Bring some money for refreshments. As in past years we will raise funds to help our long time club member Kelda. The Nautilus Running Club will match all donations received. So if you have refreshment money tucked in one sock put some donation money in the other!"Note this is NOT an official, organized, supported or sanctioned event so if you do partake please stay on the sidewalks and be careful out there! All are welcome but everyone runs at their own risk and there will be no marshals or traffic control.
