Bicycle NL through the leadership of President Kevin Flynn and a group of very active and engaged Board members and volunteers, is pushing for the province to adopt a 1-Metre Rule.
Under this proposed law a vehicle would have to refrain from passing a bicycle unless there was at least 1 metre of clearance. Several other provinces already have this legislation in place.
