Evan Knight was the fastest runner at Sunday's ANE Mile, clocking a time of 4 minutes 45 seconds. Levi Moulton was just 3 seconds behind in 4:48 and twin brother Eric Knight finished 3rd in 5:16. Chantel Barnes was the 1st female finisher in 5:42 with Thelma Greene 2nd in 6:14 with Jenny Brace 3rd in 6:16.
In the school division it was Patrick Hurley from Beaconsfield Junior High School in 5:19 for 1st (and 4th place overall!), Aaron Reid of St, Paul’s Junior High for 2nd in 5:54 with Noah Piercey from McDonald Drive Junior High 3rd in 6:13. 12-year-old Elizabeth McKay from Vanier Elementary was the top female school division finisher in 6:35 followed by Ella Duffett also from Vanier in 6:35 and Reagan Strang from Donald C. Jamieson in 7:07.
