To cap off a year which included 8 ultra marathons as well as the New York Marathon, Michael Ryan of Marystown is off to India today to participate in the 130 mile Rajasthan Thar Desert Run.This endurance run starts Christmas Day and covers 42km a day for 5 days through the Thar Desert region of India.
